The Road I Call Home
What happens when we look beyond homelessness to see the person? The Road I Call Home, an exhibition at Los Altos History Museum, invites visitors to explore that question through powerful photographic portraits and personal stories of people experiencing homelessness.
Captured by award-winning photographer and humanitarian Randy Bacon, the portraits reveal the beauty, individuality, and dignity of each person. The exhibition also features local stories and artwork, including photographs by S. M. Lieu, connecting the broader experience of homelessness to the local community.
Visitors are invited to bring non-perishable food donations for the Community Services Agency’s collection bin in the Museum lobby. They can also decorate lunch bags that Hope’s Corner will fill with food and distribute to neighbors in need.
This exhibition is toured by Exhibit Envoy and supported by The United Effort Organization.
