The current round of submissions for HPEF's Partners in Training and Partners in Documentation grant programs will be accepted until June 1, 2026.

Partners in Training

This program provides local partners with support to implement training initiatives that advance preservation technology within the United States and its territories. Grant awards generally range between $3,000 and $8,000.

Partners in Documentation

Grants provide up to $6,000 to support coursework in recording historic structures and landscapes according to the documentation standards of the National Park Service’s Heritage Documentation Programs, with an emphasis on examples of underrepresented heritage within the Library of Congress collection.
