May is Preservation Month, and there’s never been a more important time to stand up for the places and programs that make historic preservation possible. At Preservation Action, we’re hard at work on Capitol Hill advocating for the powerful tools that protect our built heritage and help revitalize communities nationwide—including the Historic Preservation Fund and the Historic Tax Credit.

This month, we’re excited to host our annual Preservation Month Congressional Staff Briefing on May 11th. This year's briefing will bring together congressional staff to explore the value and impact of historic preservation through the lenses of affordable housing, economic development, and permitting efficiency. We encourage you to help us spread the word, by inviting your Representative and Senators to attend this important and timely briefing.
